Oncological massage is a gentle and conscious massage technique that aims to treat the physical symptoms of the disease and, at the same time, provides a well-being effect to people diagnosed with cancer.
Research has shown that gentle, conscious cancer massage reduces the side effects of conventional cancer therapies and the symptoms of the disease itself (Cassileth and Vickers, 2004).
